Petition To Call For The Resignation Of Jeff Bower

We the fans of Southern Miss football, can no longer stand idly by and watch the program collapse in upon itself. We appreciate all that Jeff Bower has done for our program, but he can no longer take us any further. This petition grows from a long list of concerned fans, students, and alumni. We refuse to allow the athletic department disregard our opinion because we do not contribute a six digit sum of money to the university. Enough is enough. Things change and times evolve yet the athletic department refuses. We ask that Jeff Bower resign at the end of the season, and be given a job with the school due to his legacy at The University of Southern Mississippi. We also ask that the athletic department put together a panel to elect a new coach. A panel that is diverse and allows the opportunity for the common man, the one that truely is the heart of USM to voice his opinion. We ask that this panel include faculty, staff, students, and alumni. These are the people that pay to go to the games, and they should have an input in the future of USM football.
