Petition to make it an offence to schedule a wedding on a July weekend

Be it resolved that we the undersigned would like to petition the government so that anyone who willingly schedules their wedding on a July weekend be charged with an offense under the law. :) As Canadians (and people from other countries as well) we understand that there are only two seasons in our country. Winter and July. For those of us who are skydivers (or enter any summer sport here) these precious few weekends in the summer are very important to us. Most of us are married and as such, it is the significant other that plans our social schedule so that we are forced to attend these weddings which can easily be scheduled for other times of the year. Must it absolutely be in July? Choose a Wednesday then. Perfectly fine but just lay off of ANY July weekend. Should this deterrent be accepted and passed, it would allow a happy union for all parties involved to enjoy their events without infringing on anyone's precious summer weekend time.
