First we would like to wish you a speedy recovery for your treatment. We pray so that the Lord will touch you with his healing hand.
As you know the crisis within Kinijit has consumed the mind and heart of millions of Ethiopians. We believe the crisis must end soon so that we can focus on the main struggle. We believe you can put an end to it should you want to. You are holding the keys.
We call that you join your other colleagues (who were your Kaliti prison mates) at the October 28 2007 Washington DC town hall meeting, assume your leadership role of the delegation and be our leader. We want to see your left hand on the shoulder of one of the other and your right hand stretched to the people with the two fingers making the "V" sign.
We plead to you in the name of Shibere Dessalegn and many who shed their blood for democracy and freedom in Ethiopia; let democracy prevail and the crisis end.
