We undersigned Nikon film scanners users are very shocked that your professional high end products are not supported on recent Mac OSX 10.5 Operating System and further more Nikon Corporation has no plans to change this horrible situation.
Many users invest in Nikon film scanners with total confidence. That strong confidence has been smashed down with actual situation. How strongly all users are disappointed, you can simply verify on Internet Photo Forums All Over The World !
Nikon is advertising film scanners and still selling them to us, but why Nikon Corporation have no respect to new or loyal clients causing them enormous technical problems ?
We truly believe and very kindly ask that you, Nikon Corporation, consider further development of Nikon Scan software and its compatibility with MAC OS 10.5 and future MAC OS systems.
We Undersigned users trust firmly that you, Nikon Corporation will soon respond positively to our request.

Unfortunately the Mac OSX 10.5 Operating System is not fully compatible with Nikon Scan software. Nikon has no plans, at present, to release a version of Nikon Scan that is compatible with the Mac 10.5 Leopard operating system.

Please don't make me switch brands, as I have a great deal of Nikon equipment. You stand to lose far more that simply a handful of scanner purchasers by not updating Nikon Scan to work with Mac OS 10.5.x

It was quite an expensive scanner (IV ED) to lose functionality so soon. The scanner is perfect, software is out of date.

What do I do now with a 1000 worth of LS-5000 scanner and sf-210 slide feeder? I've already had to upgrade my mac computer to increase the memory and it comes with the latest os x 3.5.7 software
