We the people of Australia call upon both the Federal Attorney General and the Tasmanian Attorney General to initiate proceedings that will lead to the establishment of a coronial inquiry into the events surrounding the Port Arthur massacre 1996.
We recognise that such an inquiry may lead to a better understanding of the events that occurred and will aid in the formation of Government policies to better address the underlying issues of both mental health and the black market supply of illicit weapons into our community.
