Como membro do Conselho de Seguranзa, Portugal deve pugnar pelo cumprimento das resoluзхes adoptadas por aquela entidade.

After several decades of failed negotiations, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict seems to be unsolvable in the eyes of the international community.
Given the insecurity experienced by the Palestinian people and the desire for the establishment of an independent and sovereign state, it is imperative to take a clear position regarding the defense of international law and human rights.
This petition seeks a full response on the part of the Portuguese government regarding its position on the demand of the Palestinians.
As a member of the Security Council, Portugal must promote the implementation of resolutions adopted by that entity.
We urge recognition of Palestinian state along the lines of what has been done by several countries.
