Profile Views on MySpace.com

Myspace.com was created in late 2003 to offer up a place for aspiring musicians and bands to share their music and concert locations. Today as of January 2006, it has close to 50 million users worldwide. As MySpace.com has grown, so have the needs of its users requesting different things. As a MySpacer for over a year, I have seen the site go from 22 million users to what it is today. I think the one thing a lot of people look at when they log in, isnt their New Message in big red letters in the My Mail box but how many views they have had since the last time they logged in to the site. Some days I have been viewed an average of 14 times within a 2 hour period and other times 5 times in one day. I dont know how many times it has gone through my mind to think who is passing by my profile so much, or through where am I getting the traffic from? Could it be through a friends profile, a group I belong to or just through searching? I have looked into the possibility of it being me for every time I update my profile and click on View My Profile, but nope thats not it. I started searching the internet for ways to track your visitors on MySpace.com, but with no luck I came to a dead end. Then I thought about putting a counter on my site, then realized they dont allow those on our sites b/c its a JavaScript. So I finally ran out of options. I am sure that, the question I want to know who is visiting my profile may be the #1 comment, suggestion sent to the MySpace team on a daily basis, and I am one of those people. I know there is a way to do it and it wouldnt be that hard to accomplish knowing that hi5.com does it. So therefore this petition is to ask MySpace.com to come up with a way where we can know who is viewing our profile. Like previously stated MySpace.com has close to 50 million users, where a percentage of those registered are people who signed up and never again signed back in, so I am asking to get approximately 10\% of registered users who are highly interested in this subject and option on Myspace to sign this petition and once I have all the signatures needed I will print and send to Mr. Tom Anderson and his team.
