Recently Supreme court of India Imposed fine of Rs. 10 Lakhs on Government of Maharashtra and passed strictures against then chief Minister of Maharashtra ; Congress Leader Mr. Vilas Rao Deshmukh for misusing his post . The fine imposed on Government of Maharashtra will have to be finally borne by citizens of Maharashtra .
We ; the citizens of Maharashtra ; strongly oppose this payment of fine from Government of Maharashtra treasury. We strongly feel that the fine needs to be recovered from Mr. Vilas Rao Deshmukh . His abusive use of power has resulted in this unwarranted fine and a precedent needs to get established that such fines should be recovered from persons because of whose misdeeds the fine was imposed.
We ; The citizens of Maharashtra ; appeal you to kindly direct Parliamentary affairs Ministry to recover this money from Mr. Vilas Rao Deshmukhs Salary (as MP) and remit to Government of Maharashtra. We have full faith in you that you will give justice to millions of citizens of Maharashtra .
