Relocate Electronic Signage on Highway 25

The South Carolina Highway 25 approach to the Blue Ridge escarpment north of Highway 11 is one of the most beautiful and scenic views in South Carolina.

Presently, the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT)is in the process of placing a large, over-the-highway, amber alert-type sign about two miles north of Highway 11. The placement of the sign at this location will result in a scar on the landscape that is both unnecessary and irresponsible.

The undersigned Greenville County property owners request that the SCDOT select a less offensive location for the sign. Our suggestion is that the SCDOT consider placing the sign at the intersection of Highway 25 and 11.
