The air staff of WWPR Power 1051 formally requests that Nate Bell remain the Program Director of the station. During his brief tenure, Nate has lead as a strong mentor and advisor. His efforts resulted in higher ratings and saw a rise in staff morale.
Prior to his appointment, the staff lacked focus and vision. Nate restored the enthusiasm and zest for being a part of a winning team. He made us realize our potential and encouraged us to develop our on-air and off air personalities. The staff members behind the scenes have been allowed to further their goals in production, learning the sound board and more.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, he was put in a predicament beyond his control. As a Program Director, one is supposed to lead and guide, not baby-sit. It is unfortunate that one man is shouldering the blame for an inherited corporate situation.
We feel that it is in the best interest of Clear Channel as a whole to retain Nate Bell as Program Director of Power 105.1. We send this letter with respect and hope that you will seriously consider our request.
