Save Old Twitter

The purpose of this petition is simple: we hate 'New' Twitter. The layout is cluttered, difficult to read and not the reason we joined Twitter in the first place. Twitter's original design and it's simplicity of use distinguished itself from other social media like Facebook or Myspace by being much easier to use, read and understand. We feel the 'new' design goes in the wrong direction - Twitter is, essentially a real-time chat and information service and if Twitter wishes to create something like Facebook, they should use a separate platform and not deny current users the availability of the original. There is a genius to the original design and, like Classic Coke, should not be tampered with. As the saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
