Save the Community Center!

For years, the community center has provided a safe environment for youths to congregate and enjoy hijinks of all sorts, including breakdancing, athletics, and dance. Now it is being threatened by a greedy land developer and his crew of vicious thugs. Without the community center, the kids will have no place to go but the streets, and the crusty but loveable custodian won't have a job or a place to live. The community center is an epicenter for arts in the downtown area. We've tried fundraising, negotiation - even breakdance fighting - but nothing will melt the land developer's cold heart. Now is the time to act! We demand that the mayor step in and excuse the community center from its missed tax payments and arrears, which the greedy land developer will use as leverage to acquire the property. We also demand that the land developer be expelled from city limits, along with his crew of thugs, as we know that they will just try to burn the community center down the moment their plans are thwarted. Lastly, we demand a new Mrs. Pac-Man machine for the rec-room, as the old one has broken down.
