We the undersigned believe that the Olympic selection criterion for Canadian womens gymnastics is unfair and that Kristina Vaculik should be named to the Olympic team this summer. Vaculik is the 2007 Canadian all-around champion, two time Elite Canada champion, and the top Canadian all-arounder at the most recent major international event, the Pacific Rim Championships. She also recently finished second on the uneven bars and first on the balance beam at the world cup meet in Maribor, Slovenia. She has proven herself as the top Canadian all-around gymnast and therefore deserves to compete at the Olympic Games.

absolutely appalling if kristina does not get to go to the olympics. it is her absolute right and canada should be ashamed if they take what is rightfully hers (no matter what points system is in place - she is the obvious choice) away from her!!!

Kristina deserves to go to the Olympics. She works her butt off every single day even to get a fraction closer to her goals. She could easily win Canada a medal and its not fair that just because she is young and doesnt have as much points that she doesnt

Vaculik is far and above Canada's best gymnast. She has the potential to make the all around finals and has a very realistic shot at beam finals.
