Dear ITS Management, Administrators, and President of Seneca College -
Currently, they system is setup to require a new password every 45 days. This puts a change of password in the middle of a term. This makes things VERY difficult for people because, usually at the time the password reminder comes up, people are either writing mid-terms, or preparing for them. When we create a new password, we are in the process of memorizing things for our tests, and trying to remember a new password makes things difficult.
Requiring a new password every 45 days means people have to create and memorize up to 9 new passwords EVERY SINGLE YEAR - it's not easy!
We - the undersigned Faculty, Students, and Staff - hear by request that the policy changed, so that we only have to change our passwords 3 times a year, those being the first week of each semesters. These being January, May, and September.
