With this petition, fans of THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN and THE BIONIC WOMAN are kindly asking Universal Studios to release these two cult series on DVD support, in the form of box sets for each season of the shows (5 for SMDM and 3 for BW).

The "Bionics" have occupied a very special place in the hearts of the "television-generation" growing up in the 1970s. More than 25 years after their original broadcast on television, both series continue to generate much enthusiasm around the globe, with fans spending a fortune on derived bionic products, while patiently waiting for decent versions of the episodes to be released.

While many specialised TV networks have rebroadcasted the shows in recent months, the presentations are too often edited, or badly interrupted for commercial purposes. The series turned out to brillantly past the test of time and are proving to belong to the few quality productions that acquire a cult-status.

Releasing the series on DVD is an opportunity for the studios to make the fans happy again - those of the 1970s and the new comers, from younger generations also intrigued and fascinated by the very unusual heroes that were Steve Austin, and Jaime Sommers.

After 25 years of faded, and much edited reruns, it's time for the fans to be treated to a quality viewing experience: UNIVERSAL, please release the series on DVD !
