As you all know, we each day give and give to the government, but for what?
1. Bridges that collapse.
2. Unstable buildings.
3. MORE nuclear weapons for the war in Iraq.
The list goes on and on! And what should really be on that list is:
1. Installments on public transportation systems.
2. Research for better, stronger architechtural buildings.
3. Funding to research the cure for cancer.
Many times, the government has also spent money on things that don't even make since! In the 11th Edition of the Bathroom Reader there is an article about goofs the government made...with OUR money. So, if I may conclude this petition, please use the money the government earns wisely. I mean, if we can't have the money we earn, at LEAST spend it on important things!
