RETIREING WORTHY HORSES
This must be stopped. It is enabling new and inexperienced players to destroy the lines that others have worked so hard to create. One horse that has been retired to the pasture can create broken lines for many valuable horses. The money spent on creating these lines is difficult to earn, and to learn that it has been wasted because someone has retired one of the horses in your line can be very frustrating. Worthy horses should not be retired.
CROSSBREEDING
Again, this must be stopped. Horseland allows players to cross breed horses, making them into worthless pieces of computer data. This should be impossible. A horse should only be able to breed with another of its own breed to make this stop. These worthless cross breeds are taking up valuable memory and are cluttering up horseland. Its ridiculous and totally uneccessary. It should be impossible to crossbreed.
OVERBREEDING AND INBREEDING
Both of these cause worthless lines. Overbreeding results in having ridiculous amounts of horses running off the same line, making it too easy to inbreed. Inbreeding too close together in real life causes deformaties in the offspring. This game is supposed to represent real life, and give players the chance to know what horse owning, breeding etc is like. It should be impossible to inbreed.
In order to stop these things occuring, we need some boundries in place. Boundries that make it impossible to inbreed, overbreed or crossbreed. Boundries that make it impossible to retire a horse unless it is completely useless and not holding up lines. If horseland makes it impossible to inbreed, overbreed and crossbreed, and creates a retirement club, where only worthless horses with no children can be retired, it would fix a lot of the problems we are faced with. True, some horses should be retired, or deleted, as they are worthless and only cluttering up the system. Thats why horses should be checked over by experienced players before being retired, perhaps in a club or similar. Only these players would have the ability to retire horses, meaning no more broken lines!
