Stop Climate Change Targets which will crucify Britain

Chris Huhne has decided that the UK should cut its greenhouse gases by 50 per cent by the year 2025. America has pledged only a 3 per cent, while China has stated that it expects its carbon emissions to continue rising each year. If Mr. Huhne has his way every family in Britain will be paying over £500 per year in green energy taxes. A very admiral target, but sadly it will make hardly any impact on climate change. Compared to the carbon admissions caused by large countries like China and India the contribution we make will be like a drop in the ocean. If the whole of England stopped using energy completely it would still make very little difference to the so called “man made” climate change. However, the proposed cuts will have a huge impact on our standard of living. Fuel prices will rocket, a frightening prospect, most of us finds it difficult to pay our ever increasing energy bills now. Of course, rising fuel prices will have little effect on people such as Chris Huhne who have sufficient income to be able to keep their standard of living from dropping. So, while most of us don an extra overcoat to keep warm, the like of Mr Huhne will be warming their toes while counting profits from their green investments such as inefficient wind farms. Britain is on a fast train to economic meltdown, it’s time the British people said enough is enough!
