Stop the Gauging

Over the last couple of years gas prices have been rising and rising, and so have the profits of the major companies that sell gasoline to the American public. It is Congresses responsibility to investigate why the prices continue to rise making these companies richer and making the general public poorer. It is not needed for oil companies to be posting profits of 40.6 billion dollars. This petition is a call for Congress to take action, members of Congress of promised that they would investigate this price gauging and take action but they still havent. Congress needs to stand up and take action, this also a call to all Americans to let Congress know they need to fix this problem.
