Stop The RSPCA from Banning Tail Docking in Australia, be heard and have your say here!

In recent years the RSPCA has banned tail docking in Australia. Breeders of Dobermans, Corgis, Boxers and Rottweilers plus so many other dogs no longer breed because of the repercussions of the state laws that the RSPCA have insisted the various state governments of Australia.

Tail docking is very much like circumcision of boys at a very young age. There is no pain inflicted and it has no effect on the quality of life of a dog.

To date there has been numerous cases of breeds of dogs that usually have their tails docked, suffering severe damage to their tails because their tails are so weak and in turn they become damaged, broken and scarred.

This hurts a dog long term and is unkind to the animal, restricting them in exercise and doing the things normal dogs do.
