Support For Vote of No Confidence

To: Cheatham County School Board Members
We, the undersigned, strongly encourage the Board of Education for Cheatham County School District, to remove Mrs. Lynn Seifert, the current Director of Schools, from her position. Mrs. Lynn Seifert is causing our District to be run into the ground with her inaccurate projections, inability to fiscally manage the district, to make appropriate staffing appointments and terminations, to keep the citizens of the county informed of vital information, to be consistent on issues within her school system, to procure books and supplies for teachers to begin the school year with, along with half-truths, and misleading information. Mrs. Lynn Seifert has repeatedly ignored Title IX and 504 issues brought to her attention for multiple years causing complaints to formally filed. Mrs. Lynn Seifert has caused the Cheatham County School District to be found in violation of The Education Capital Projects Fund required material audit adjustment for proper financial statement present The extended school program had operating deficiencies other finding have shown that improper accounting had taken place on several levels of the school system by the State of Tennessee Financial Auditors. Mrs. Lynn Seifert has brought PTO and Booster money into the school district controls knowingly violating state law. Mrs. Lynn Seifert has used her position to bully parents, teachers, and administrators into not speaking up for what is right for students. Mrs. Lynn Seifert has made a mockery of the mission statement by overlooking inappropriate actions of school employees. Mrs. Lynn Seifert has ignored the Beliefs of the Cheatham County Board of Education by ignoring the Belief of We believe in educational experiences which embrace diversity and accountability and produce life-long learners and We believe that students and educators should model self-discipline, character, teamwork, and life-long learning by continually sweeping under the rug actions taken place on and off school property by students and employees.
