To all terrible writers

Dear Terrible Writers.

Hello, I am one of the many people who go on sites like: Fanfiction, Fiction Press, Fiction Alley and several other sites that provide people the opportunity to get there stories out there. I for one am tired of coming across stories that are so terrible that no one in their right mind would want to read.

I and the people who have signed below are asking for your co-operation to stop writing. If you have to continue writing, do not make it public. I'm sure there are some writers who can improve from constructive critism but there aren't many. There are several stories out there where people have tried to help but the person continues to be terrible. The person also gets very angry from the critism.

If you get offended from critism and stop writing you were not meant to be a writer. Although flames are terrible, sometimes you should pay attention to them. Do you get more flames then actual reviews? If so this means that your story is terrible.

I once saw an author on Fiction Press and she had four stories on her account. Her writing did not improve throughout any of the stories and yet she always asked why she wasn't getting reviews.

I'm asking you a favor and the people who signed this agree with me. If you are a terrible writer and you notice a lot of the incidents above about your story, stop writing! If you write just for the fun of it and don't care about the comments you get and you continue to do terrible, do us all a favour and stop writing.

Some people may ask the question: If you don't like a story why read it? Well I and several others simply can't help it because we have no idea that the story is going to be terrible until we actaully read it.

So remember, if you get a lot of flames, if you don't get any reviews, if you get angry over critism or if you have at least ten chapters and only one reviewer stop writing. You'll save people from accidently finding your story and making them almost want to pull there hair out because your story is so terrible.
