To the Health Minister

I'm a 62 yr old New Zealand wpoman, who like many, many others suffers from blood clots.In the past I was taking what they use as rat poison to thin my blood. When you take this you must have blood test several times a week to keep an eye on your blood. These tests cost the tax payer a lot of money. I finally got onto a tablet that was better for me and there was no need for all these endless blood tests. Its called Rivarroxaban. The drug company had funded it while the government has decided if they would fund it. The present government had decided that they will not fund it, even though there has been many faverable responces to it. If we cam't get the government to change their mind about this, as from December 2105 it would cost $700 for three months supply. I will not have a hope of paying this sort of money, as I'm sure many other wont either. I would really appreciate anyone and everyone signing my petition to the present health minister to please reconsider their stand on this matter.
