Universal Health Care

The message of this petition is clear and simple: We want Universal Health Care, and we want as soon as possible!

We are Democrats of voting age and we are worried about our futures, and the futures of our loved ones.

What will happen to us when we, or they, get sick and are forced to go to hospitals that treat us like consumers, to deal with pharmaceutical companies that act as though we owe THEM a favor, or talk to our Insurance companies that, even after years of loyally paying for their services, drop us at the first hint of actually having to make good on their promises?

Under our current system, we are almost literally at the whim of money grubbing business people who treat human life like a commodity, a resource to be capped, controlled, and profited from.

Needless to say this is not a good situation, not in any sense of the word good. And we, as the voting populace, want change. We want a system that allows us to get the health care we need for free, when ever we need it.

We realize that this will require raising taxes, and we are fine with it, after all the taxes will go towards aiding those in need, potentially even ourselves.

And we want you the leaders of the Democratic party, the future leaders of the free world, to be the agents of change for our great nation. To set the foundations, and instituted the necessary legislation for a universal health care system, where everyone is truly equal.

Lets get away from the corrupt, business world of health care, and move towards the light of free, universally distributed care. With your help this dream can move out of the pipes and into the realm of reality, please do not deny the people of this nation, that you serve, its greatest need.
