We Are Not Arabs

The Arab American Institute is currently categorizing the Assyrian, Chaldean and Syriac as Arab Americans for their U.S. demographics. The Coalition of American Assyrians and Maronites (CAAM) sent a letter to the Arab American Institute in October 2001 to stop identifying Assyrians and Maronites as Arabs in its literature. However, it seems
that that letter has fallen on deaf ears as the Institute's Board of Directors has neglected to remove Assyrians from its publications. Please sign this petition to counteract the actions of the Arab American Institute.
