We are the Bay Area Compassion Health Center. (BACH) We have submitted an application to the City of San Francisco to open a Medical Cannabis Dispensary (MCD) at 2139 Taraval St. (near 32nd Ave.) We are registered with the state of California as a Mutual Benefit Non-Profit Corporation. We will contribute to the community's health, safety, and beautification. We choose to regulate ourselves by not allowing anyone under the age of 21 years into our dispensary unless accompanied by an adult parent/guardian. Children are not allowed. We choose to regulate ourselves by not allowing consumption, ingestion, or smoking Medical Cannabis inside or around our facility. There will be no loitering. We have only one dispensary planned. This one. We do not have another. We cultivate and process our own medicine by and for our members at our own facilities that are inspected and legally operated outside of San Francisco. We choose to have all of our Medical Cannabis tested for mold, fungus, bacteria, pesticides as well as the levels of cannabanoids (THC, CBD etc.) to insure purity and inform the patient of the dosage they need. We are now and will continue to work with our research and other researchers to explore and develop new medicines, uses, and methods of delivery. We will make this information and medicine available to our members and from time to time we will ask for their help and feedback. We choose the Sunset District because of San Francisco's disproportionate distribution of MCDs and recognize the need to provide the patients among its 70,000 residents with LOCAL, SAFE, and LEGAL, access to the medicine that they need. The Sunset District has a low incidence of crime and we intend to help keep it that way. We searched for 14 months to find the right location. We think you know that Medical Cannabis has been legal in California for 14 years. We want to meet our new neighbors and garner your support, answer questions, and address your concerns during our weekly meetings at 2139 Taraval St. every Wednesday evening starting at 6:30 until at least 9:00. We hope that you or your loved ones never need the service that we provide. We are glad to be here for those that do and for those that will need our services.
