We NEED the corner of Exford Road and Greigs Road to be speed reduced

We, the undersigned, belong to the Exford Primary School community and are very concerned about the speed of traffic on the three hills approaching the Greigs Road and Exford Road (Melton South and Exford) intersection. The steepness of the hills, combined with speed, makes for unsafe travelling. The traffic in this area has and will continue to increase with additional students at Exford PS, and with new housing estates.
We believe that speed controlling devices (e.g. ‘rumble strips’) and a reduced speed limit on the three hills are essential to prevent the loss of life and the frequent incidence of vehicle accidents in this area.
