Although the neighborhood won a hard fought battle to limit new residential construction to 3story/35, because this project has two Affordable Housing units on-site, it is allowed to go up an extra story and eliminate the code requirement for guest parking.
The WeHo Heights Neighborhood Association feels guest parking is a priority issue. It should be a necessary component of any new development as there is very limited street parking available for residents and their guests.
We the Undersigned would like to see this project limited to 3-story/35 5-units, and include two guest parking spots. The developer should pay In Lieu fees for off-site Affordable Housing. In return, we would support the five units being luxury condominium units over 1,400 sq ft.
