A Call for Democratic Senators to Fillibuster the Alito Confirmation

In signing this petition, I am calling United States Senators to do more than just vote against the confirmation of Samuel Alito as Associate Justice to the Supreme Court, but to use the constitutional tool fillibustering to take an active stand in preventing a vote that will potentially give the executive branch of the federal government of the United States powers that over-reach those defined by the Constitution of the United States of America. In signing this petition, I state that I am a United States citizen seeking to hold my elected officials responsible to their duties in protecting the liberties of United States citizens.
