Adaptation of wheelchair adapted vans in Quebec/Adaptation des vйhicules pour transporter les fauteuils roulants au Quйbec

We respectfully request that:

1) Mr. Michael Lifshitz receives immediately, as opposed to January 2010, the grant offered by the S.A.A.Q. to adapt a new van to transport his wheelchair so he may continue functioning independently.

2) That going forward, the five year restriction under this program should be waived when a) the recipient has made every effort to ensure the van would last five years and b) the van has become unusable and/or unsafe, and can not be repaired.

1) M. Michael Lifshitz reзoit immйdiatement, et non en janvier 2010, la subvention offerte par le S.A.A.Q. d'adapter un nouveau vйhicule pour transporter son fauteuil roulant afin qu'il peut continuer de fonctionner indйpendamment.

2) Au futur, le restriction de cing ans pour une subvention sous ce programme devrait кtre levйe lorsque a) le bйnйficiaire a fait tous les efforts pour assurer la vйhicule dureraient cinq ans et b) la vйhicule est devenue inutilisable et dangereuses et ne peut pas кtre rйparй.
