Against Renaming Springbank Public School

By signing this petition, we DO NOT support the decision to change the name of Springbank Public School. Our school is named in memory of the Springbank Snow Countess which resided at the farm that was once on the property where Springbank Public School now sits. The Springbank Snow Countess is the reason why Woodstock is referred to as The Dairy Capital of Canada.
The current name of Springbank Public School reflects an important part of our City=s Heritage and we feel that the decision to rename the school is unfair & unnecessary.
