The Australian Hip Hop Community would like to have the opportunity to see the classic Hip Hop movie entitled "Beat Street" on the big screen!
The Chauvel slogan is "IF IT'S AT CINEMAS EVERYWHERE....IT'S NOT ON HERE!"
"Beat Street" has not been shown in Australia since it's release date in 1984, and the Chauvel Cinema gives us the opportunity to see movies of relevance that cannot be seen anywhere else.
Hip Hop is a global phenomenon and it's popularity has never been stronger than in the year 2003. Let's take it back to the Old School and re-educate the masses as to how Hip Hop started all those years ago.
"Beat Street" is considered the greatest asset to Hip Hop history that has ever been caught on film. Please show "Beat Street" on the big screen, the Australian Hip Hop Community will be eternally grateful!
