On February 6th on the BRCA (The British Radio Car Association) website it was announced that 'Model Expo 2006' had been cancelled due to various reasons.
Below is a list of signatures of people who are involved in, or are interested in, the scale modelling industry whether it be radio controlled, static or otherwise. They are backing the cause to see that the 2006 Model Expo goes ahead as it previously has in past years.

I think that it is a crying shame to lose the venue as our hobby is growing by the day and we need some sort of national exposure for it to grow even more.

This will lose many potential rc modellers. I picked up rc modelling after attending the show. Had such a nice time that I started my own rc model collection. Was really looking forward to it. This is a bad news. It is such a healthy sport for all ages. S

get the model expo back to the nec its being their for years and should stay their.. if it goes anywhere then their tratiors espically if its to go to that crappy new place that has opened in london :@
