Harry Potter fan sites, as well as Gary Oldman's (Sirius') manager, have been reporting that Sirius Black was never intended to return for "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix."
Posted Monday, Feb. 20 on his manager's website:
"Today we take the further step of noting that it does not look likely that Mr. Oldman will once again play the role of Sirius Black. For reasons known only to the producers of the Potter film, Mr. Oldman has not been engaged.... While one does not want to jump to wrong conclusions, there is a growing sense that it was never the intention for them to have Mr. Oldman return."
Now, as we all know, Sirius Black is a crucial character in the makeup of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix." Much of the story depends on him, and it cannot exist without a Sirius Black. Without Sirius, we cannot have a Grimmauld Place, a Black Family Tree, or even Dumbledore's Order of the Phoenix!
By signing this petition, we agree that if Sirius is not cast for movie 5 in the Harry Potter series, there will be consequenceswhether they be a mass boycott of the movie, protests, etc.
