Bring Back The Coors Light Band

History:

Starting in 2003, Coors Light assembled what was possibly the best most hardest corest band ever. They were called the Coors Light Band. The band consisted of four or so members who were all experts at punk rock. They jammed like nobody else and had some fun lyrics.

Their most well known hit was probably "Tribute To Twins", which I think stayed at the top of record charts for TWO ENTIRE MONTHS.

Originally hailing from Minnesota, the Coors Light Band wrote the song as a tribute to the twin cities St. Paul and Minneapolis. A Coors Light executive insisted that they changed the subject matter to hot girl twins. The original lead singer of the Coors Light Band was appalled by the suggestion, and left the band, only to be replaced by a new lead singer(their names were never given publicly, because they wanted to show the world that they were a TEAM and not just a band of INVIDUALS).

Changing the lyrics to be more focused on hot girl twins turned out to be a great move, financially. Beer sales rose dramatically, their record sales went double-platinum, and the Coors Light Band played to sold out houses nearly every weekend.

Then, suddenly, their commercials stopped playing. I'm not sure why. All I'm sure of is that THAT SUCKS. They still sang every week on ESPN, but it wasn't the same.

They also still had the Coors Light Twins appear in print ads. I'm sorry Coors Light, but "twins" by themselves really aren't that appealing. I know the whole idea is to have a threesome with them, but I just think that's really pointless. THEY LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME. Why not just have sex with the same person twice? Use your imagination, it's not that different. Maybe squint your eyes really tight until you start seeing double.

A friend of mine went to a Coors Light Band show and he said it really rocked. I bought a T-shirt while I was there. I think that Coors Light needs to bring back the band that made them famous in the first place. Their beer was nothing until they had a band to sing about how much they rocked.

I will not buy or drink another Coors Light beer until I hear the Coors Light Band play again.
