Bring Simple Plan to Perth (2011)

Simple Plan have just announced their Australian tour dates for their worldwide Get Your Heart On! Tour.
Only three dates have been listed as of yet (Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne) - All on the East coast - No Perth date.

Although costly, it is normally possible for West Australian's to fly over to see their favourite bands in other states, however the three current dates not only clash with Perth's Soundwave Revolution Festival (which showcases bands of the same genre) but also Australia's AFL Grand Final making it even more expensive and not financially viable for the age-group who would be interested.

Simple Plan last came to Perth in 2005 - That's over 6 years ago! They had planned to come here in 2008 but cancelled due to 'scheduling conflicts'. Perth fans are as dedicated as those in any other state if not more since we get much fewer tours than those in the East and therefore appreciate it more.
Simple Plan have a strong Australian fanbase and would have no problem selling tickets if an all-age show was put on in Perth at a suitable venue such as Astor Theatre or Challenge Stadium (which have housed many international acts such as Cobra Starship, Good Charlotte, and Escape The Fate).
