Build us an icerink in Newcastle/Gateshead

Sick to death of taking the 30mins to 1 hour journey to Whitley Bay when it is the only Ice Rink in the North East and have you seen the state of the place? The Life Centre is always crouded and not even worth paying the fiver to get on the ice, Newcastle or Gateshead Council BUILD US A STATE OF THE ART ICE RINK/CONCERT VENUE. Nottingham has the National Ice Centre, Sheffield has Ice Sheffield and The Hallam FM Arena, And the north east has? Shitley Bay and the life centre once a year. Yet Newcastle/Gateshead Councils can't get their acts together to build us our own. FOOTBALL ISN'T THE ONLY SPORT IN THE NORTH EAST YOU KNOW!
