Are you tired of paying child support and not being able to see your child? Under current law, a parent can obtain free assistance from the state to pursue and enforce child support; however, at the same time, the parent with the child can withhold visitation. The non-custodial parent must hire an expensive attorney to have the right to visitation. Paying child support should be contingent upon visitation without the assistance of expensive legal assistance. Just as the custodial parent can pursue child support without paying an attorney, child visitation should be automatically awarded to the non-custodial parent. Then, if the custodial parent does not wish to give visitation, let them have to hire an expensive attorney to prove that the other parent is unfit. Too many custodial parents are pushing for child support without allowing the other parent to see their child/children. In some situations, the father or mother has not seen their child in years, or worse, ever. This is the most unfair practice on the books. Let's change it.
