Columbia University Tail-Gating Policy

As a Barnard or Columbia student, I have a vested interest in the traditions of the University. I feel students should always be given a voice when the University administration considers policy changes, and will contest a lack of such collaboration whenever and wherever it occurs. I am dissatisfied with the new Columbia University tail-gating policy as I believe it does not foster the athletics community that students seek at athletics events. I personally feel my elected student representatives must be included in discussions to appropriately reevaluate this recent policy change.
