There is one final Ernest movie that hasn't been released called Ernest the Pirate. Apparently it was near completion when Jim Varney sadly passed away. It was either near completion or in post production. In any case it still remains unreleased to this day.
This final Ernest film should be picked up and completed by the Walt Disney studios as a final tribute to Jim. Disney is the company that released the first four Ernest movies, and in his final years Jim Varney did voice work for several Disney films (Toy Story 1,2, Atlantis). Because of this history between Jim and Disney Studios, We can't think of a better film studio to finish his final work and pay him a proper tribute. We wouldn't expect anything more than a direct to DVD release (and hopefully a Jim Varney tribute featurette as an extra).

I know there's most likely not a huge demand of people knocking down the doors, But I'm sure there's a large enough fan base and are plenty of people that would love to see this be released, not to forget to mention but I'm sure there's a world of people
