Since their tour schedules lead them to perform at a 24 hours distance (Keith on Dec. 1st and Carl on Dec. 2nd) in the same town, and their current setlists have many ELP songs in common, their Italian (and all other) fans do hope seeing them play together. Also a single song would be appreciated.
We are sure Keith and Carl will enjoy themselves by playing again together, far more than the lucky people in the audience.

STAY ON TUNE!
Please keep yourself informed on the usual info channels (GregLake.com forum and ELP Digest newsgroup) about the proposed reunion: in case, Rome is easy to reach for European fans and, after all, the Eternal City is a great place to spend a week end (the concerts are on a Thursday and Friday)!
MORE WISHES
The petitioners signing herebelow also take the chance to invite Keith and Carl (if in town) to the PFM show at Teatro Brancaccio, Rome on the day before, Nov. 30th as well as to send their (late) best wishes for Keiths birthday, Nov. 2nd.
ABOUT EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER (from official ELP and CP websites)
The band featured Keith Emerson (formerly in The Nice) on Piano, Hammond and Keyboards, Greg Lake (from King Crimson) on bass, guitars and vocals and Carl Palmer (from The Crazy World of Arthur Brown) on drums and percussions.
Having been born out of three established and popular bands, ELP became one of
rock's earliest "supergroups". Their unique sound combined classical music with rock power, pioneer sound research with poetry-inspired lyrics. The use of Moog synthesizers (whose creator, Robert Moog died on August 2005 at 71) expanded the known limits of sound creation.
ELP would go on to become one of the biggest rock acts of all time, with sales of over 30 million records and sold out tours around the globe.
In 1979 they exited the musical arena, but ELP returned in 1992, eventually (and definitively?) disbanding in the winter of 1998.
ABOUT ROCK LEGENDS REUNIONS
Many supergroups have been recently involved in reunions:
YES (since 1991 Union tour many different line-ups, until the current classic one, w./Anderson, Howe, Squire, Wakeman, White)
GENESIS (last minute): ex band members admit a meeting will be taking place to discuss a possible Genesis reunion.
VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR: on 2005 they have come back with great success.
PINK FLOYD: everyone has seen their performance at Live8 and everyone is hoping its not the last time.
CREAM: on May 2005 they have set on fire the Royal Albert Hall 36 years after their legendary farewell concert.
