To whom it may concern,

The class IT2014CCT, wish to lodge a formal complaint about Dr. Rory O'Connor. Throughout our fourth semester, we as a class have voiced our concerns directly to Dr. O'Connor and to other staff members. Regrettably, we have not seen any progress towards the resolution of the issues.

We feel that Dr. O'Connor, with his teaching methods and lack of engagement, has negatively affected our learning experience this semester. Dr. O'Connor has made no attempts to adjust his teaching methods to better suit our class. We understand that both students and teachers need time to adapt to each other's needs and expectations, however, Dr. O'Connor has shown no desire to engage with our class. We have found it a constant challenge to get answers to our questions.

In regards to the projects, some of the requirements were ambiguous and this led to stress and confusion for the whole class. Very little feedback was given after the projects were corrected, even though there was a clear difference between the marking scheme and the requirements.

This is not the standard that we expect from the lecturers at CCT. We are writing this letter with the hope that this issue will be resolved for our final year. We request to be assigned another lecturer during the duration of our final year, commencing this September.

We hope to have this resolved as quickly as possible so that we all can focus on completing our Bachelors of Science Degree in Information Technology.
