Grant MacEwan Optometry and Vision Scienes Program

There are only two schools in Canada the host Optometry and Vision Science Programs in Canada, and only one of those are for English speaking students. However, in the United States there is an abudance of programs. This is very difficult for those who want to practice optometry as the only English speaking school allows 30 students in every year out of approx. 250 applicants. This petition is to try and convince MacEwan University to host the second English speaking program for the other applicants that have no other option but to apply to the US schools. The cost difference between the Canadian School and US schools are is approx $165,000.00 If MacEwan starts up a programs as such that would be an extra $35,000 in tuition per student with an abundance of applicants. This will pay off he program in a matter of 4-8 years. Please share this petition and sign today!!
