A not-for-profit, Grimsby based charitable organisation, who work with adults with disabilities and disadvantages to provide supported workshops, have been in talks with Council Officials and their representatives at Balfour Beatty for the past year about the future use of Lindsey Lower School. They have submitted a design that will retain much of the current building, ensuring the continuation of a much loved and respected building for the use of the community at large. Their plans are centred around the retention of both front and side elevations, these being renovated to form a very impressive building retaining the heritage of the site for the local community.
