The October 25, 2010 article in Marie Claire, Should Fatties Get a Room? (Even on TV), raised an uproar of negative vibes as freelance writer, Maura Kelly, personally attacked people of a larger stature. With comments like yes, I think I'd be grossed out if I had to watch two characters with rolls and rolls of fat kissing each other & ... I'd be grossed out if I had to watch them doing anything. To be brutally honest, even in real life, I find it aesthetically displeasing to watch a very, very fat person simply walk across a room she blatantly had no compassion for her readers who may be struggling with weight issues or even those who may just simply have respect for people in general. Please help me show this major publication the you cannot attack and degrade human beings while posing as a writer for the people. Maura Kellys resignation is absolutely NECESSARY and Marie Claires Editor-in-Chief needs to be under review IMMEDIATELY as we get to the bottom of how such a hurtful article could have been published.
