Honest Politicians

Politicians,
As it has become clearly evident that no man or woman that should run for any public office ever will or be allowed to; I believe the we must accept the fact that our country will always be run by charlatans, fools, criminals, self-serving hypocrites and liars. As much as we hate to admit this fact, it is indeed a fact. As our fate is clearly inevitable I believe that our rulers should at least do us the courtesy of admitting this fact publicly. As an appeasement or at the least an accommodation to a country that is forcibly ruled by these people, I propose that this unspoken truth be vocalized immediately in a public forum of their choosing. It should be clearly and plainly articulated so as to leave no doubt whatsoever in the minds of the constituents of our, for lack of a better word, leaders. Saying simply, " I will make any promises necessary to be installed in this office with no commitment to follow through with any of them, now or in the future", will do nicely and eloquently. This process should begin at the highest levels of government, namely the office of the president of the United States of America, down to our local school boards and civil planning committees.
