We are shocked and disturbed that Sheikh Zoubir's petition previously approved was revoked and now will be decided on appeal. During the past seven years Sheikh Zoubir faithfully and judiciously has served the Muslim community of the Greater Houston. Sheikh Zoubir has devoted his life to help the community develop, grow and overcome numerous individual and collective challenges.
Now that Sheikh Zoubir is facing challenges by US Citizenship and Immigration Services we urge you to fully support us in ensuring that Sheikh Zoubir continues his invaluable services while his appeal is processed. Sheikh's attorney of record has indicated that he may continue his services. Contrary opinions ought not trump the wishes of community members.
