Adakah anda seorang Pro-Pekerja?
Jom Mempertahankan Hak Pekerja!

pihak majikan boleh membuang pekerja dengan senang sekali kerana para pekerja tidak boleh mendakwa mereka;

tidak lagi wujud konsep pekerja tetap di Malaysia kerana pindaan ini mencadangkan konsep pekerja kontrak;

tiada hubungan di antara majikan dan pekerja kerana wujud anasir sub-kontraktor;

pekerja dikehendaki datang ke kerja bila-bila masa saja;

bayaran OT boleh dilambatkan sehingga 30 hari;

Are you a supporter of workers?
Let's fight for the rights of the workers!

The Barisan Nasional government with the Malaysian Employer Federation (MEF), are planning to make three amendments to labour laws which consist of Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relation Act 1967 and Trade Union Act 1959. These amendments are the worst in the history of Malaysia and the amendments only benefit the employers. The amendments will be tabled in Parliament by the Human Resource Minister in October 2010. The following are the consequences if the amendments are passed:

* Employers will be able to retrench workers easily since the workers cant take legal action against them;

* There will no longer be a permanent staff concept since the amendments propose for contract workers concept;

* There will be no more relation between the employer and employee because there will be another group of sub contractors;

* Workers can be called to work at any time;

* OT payments can be delayed up to one month

* Acknowledgment status of Unions can be withdrawn;

There are more amendments which violate workers' rights. For further information regarding the amendments, please visit JERIT website (www.jerit.org).

Are we going to be silent and allow these amendments to be passed? Let's show our protest against the amendments by signing the online petition.
