We, the undersigned, believe that AP Biology students have the opportunity to see their exams in order to check for the correct answers and any errors in the answer key. If there are any such errors, we believe that it is fair to change our scores, and our grades if the corrections call for it. We would like the process to go through as smoothly as possible, and are not interested in creating problems for neither the administration nor Mr. Williams. Our only desire is to be able to justify the answers deemed right and have the grades that we work hard to earn, no matter what these might be. The advance placement science classes at Arcadia High School and at many other schools have traditionally been graded on a different scale because these are high school classes at a college level and properly reflect the work and achievement that we have put into this class. We believe that our scores and grades should reflect this fact in addition to any corrections made in the answer key. We have no interest in causing extra conflict and we believe that Mr. Williams is a kind, caring, upstanding individual. We are willing to go over every test possible, and seek the support of other AHS science teachers, for the benefit of our knowledge and for any adjustments of our grades, if the results of the examination deem it necessary.
