We ask you to reconsider your newly announced registration system for the 2012 Boston Marathon. It unfairly changes the standards and rules for runners who have already posted qualifying times for the 2012 race, and now find themselves subordinated to other qualifiers. These qualifiers might never get the chance to sign-up for the race, despite surpassing the prevously posted standards by the B.A.A. This effectively changes the rules in the middle of the game, and disregards the hard work and dedication expended by many to attain qualifying times.
